Today was a pretty good day at work, more people here then on the weekends ... our two girls back to work and they always loft the spirits of the guys around here....

I heard today of a mine accident up near Watson Lake ... the mine is near Cantung where I worked a few years back ... a young mechanic was killed in an accident there and he worked at Cantung as well ... I think after I left because I do not think I know him ... a sad day in mining.

No Canucks on TV tonight and Montreal ahead of Washington 3-0 in the third period so I did not stay till the end.

I instead am on the computer ... and doing my laundry at the same time ... exciting huh ....

Another day here a little like yesterday ....

Was welding and cutting for the miners today and caught my new coveralls on fire ... I was not a happy camper for a little while there lol ... oh ya burnt my shoe laces also .... I think have new ones here somewhere.

Watched the Canucks tonight and there win made my bad day float away lol ... so now they are off to the second round of the playoffs ... will it be Chicago .... perhaps.

Sandra my wife is real busy at home trying to get the bathroom done before I get home ... she went to Kamloops and bought a new toilet ... (ya the high rise type lol) for us older types ... and she also go some flooring etc etc.

Then she had to rush out and cut the lawn (two lots) sounds like I am a mean sucker lol ... but I really am not ...

Ok on that note I will publish this little story .... see you all another time.

Yes I know its been ages since I wrote anything in here, but it is a cold not very nice day here up at the mine, it even snowed several times during the day. It did not stick on the ground however.

Brought my gold panning equipment with me this trip, looked at the river and its fairly high, however i will give it a shot if we get any sun ... after all its a hobby not a job lol.... .

Ok going back a few days on my last two weeks off, we went on our second road trip with our new friends Peter and Dee ... we went to Tulameen and Granite City as well we passed through Coolmont and of course took some pictures alone the way ... had a few beers and ya i know I did not pick a very good brand so we drank all Peter's ... make it up to him the next time we go out.

I will add just a couple pictures so you get an idea ... of the trip ... se you all next time ....
